September 16th, 2008 John C. Maxwell, internationally recognized leadership expert, speaker and author, spoke at a Leadership Symposium sponsored by Christian Business Men’s Committee of the Heartland and Christian Business Women’s Forums in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Maxwell highlighted key leadership principles in a compelling and understandable manner weaving in stories and frequently referencing the Gospel as the source. His evening presentation to the gathering of nearly twelve-hundred people, concluded with a simple presentation of God’s plan for salvation. After the event, commitment cards revealed that nearly two-hundred fifty people made a commitment to Jesus Christ at the event.
