July 2009 / Bott Radio Network Co-Sponsors Grassroots Political Training Event Featuring National Conservative Leaaders, including Rich Bott, in Kansas City, Saturday, July 25th

Several national and regional conservative leaders spoke at the first Grassroots Political Training Event, held at the Hyatt Regency in Kansas City, Saturday, July 25th. Rich Bott, BRN Executive Vice President was on a media panel discussing media, messaging and the Fairness Doctrine. The event was held by Family Research Council Action, Americans for Conservative Training (ACT) and the Missouri Family Policy Council. More than 250 people attended the all day training seminar and listened to speakers including Austin Nimocks of The Alliance Defense Fund, Dr. Karladine Graves of ACT, Lila Rose of Live Action Films, Dr. Alveda King of King for America, Cynthia Hill of Family Resarch Council Action, Kansas City radio host Christ Stigall, and others. Bott Radio Network held a drawing for a gift certificate to Jack Stack BBQ in Kansas City during the event, and BRN listener Malinda Handforth was the winner.

Rich Bott answered questions during a panel discussion on media and messaging.

Rob Arnakis, of The Leadership Institute, spoke on the changing world of social media and how using new technology can help shape public opinion.

Dr. David Prentice informed the audience of successes with adult stem cell therapies now in existence as opposed to failure upon failure with embryonic stem cell research. At present there are 80 known cures involving adult stem cell research versus none known for baby destroying embryonic stem cell research.

Dan Snell of Bott Radio Network welcomes Dr. Stephen Broden, of Fair Park Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas, to Kansas City for the ACT training event.

Dr. Stephen Broden spoke about the Black Holocaust of abortion and how many black church members are socially conservative.

Chris Stigall, of 710 KCMO radio, gave an energetic speech to an approving and enthusiastic crowd.

Lila Rose, President of Live Action Films, spoke about Planned Parenthood and their cover up of illegally providing abortions for underage victims of older sexual predators.

Dr. Karladine Graves of Americans for Conservative Training (ACT) addresses the large audience about what to expect during the day of training.
