August 2009 / Bott Radio Network Co-Sponsors Rock the River Tour in St. Louis, Sunday, August 2nd

Bott Radio Network Co-Sponsored Franklin Graham’s Rock the River Tour in St. Louis, which drew in excess of 65,000 people to the area around the St. Louis Arch. This was the second of four stops along the Mississippi River for evangelist Franklin Graham and a variety of Christian music groups hoping to capture the hearts of youth in the Heart of America. Between concert sets, Graham presented the Gospel in clear, simple terms. The event at the Arch on Sunday drew young people from all walks of life, and 800 made decisions for Christ according to counselors on the scene. Franklin Graham is concentrating on the youth of America since learning that two thirds of those coming to Christ during the last several years of his ministry’s large stadium events were young people. The Rock the River Tour will continue up the Mississippi River with stops at the Quad Cities in Iowa and Illinois, August 8th and conclude in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, August 16th.
